In Temukung:Cultivation in Drylands, there are 5 main ethnics:Atoni, Bunak, Helong, Kemak, and Tetun. However there are sub-ethnics based on regions with Atoni L and Tetun Malaka.
Atoni L is Atoni who have differrent accent with another Atoni with “R” word changed to “L” in every word. In Atoni, there are many sub-ethnics but Atoni L is another things based on their language. Most of Atoni L speaker lives in South Central Timor regancy and several.part of Malaka regancy.
In opening Atoni L, the story similiar with Atoni Bikomi but they used south Atoni kingdoms like Amanuban and Amanatun who went to Mutis mountain with south route.

Tetun Malaka is Tetun who lives in Malaka. Malaka is the most fertile land in West Timor and allows the cultivation cycle in twice on 1 year. Malaka is home where Liurai Wehali lives. He is the ruler of Malaka and Belu which consider as highest ruler of Timor under Maromak Oan, son of gods.
In opening Tetun Malaka, the story based on legand Sina Mutin Malaka, the story how Tetun come of Malaka from Malaka in Malaya with route Malaka to Makassar and Makassar to Laranruka. The story continue with Portuguese and Makassar in Wehali and after defeated by Portuguese.

Helong is a native ethnic who lives in Kupang and Semau island. In their legand, they came from Maluku islands and settled in bay of Kupang. In Kupang, Dutch takeover king of Helong’s fort and established fort of Concordia. In later, Kupang got attacked by Sonbai and Topases with host of mans, but they got defeated by Dutch and their allies.

Temukung:Cultivation in Drylands is historical farming game set in West Timor at 19th century. This game develop by Sengkala Dev and funded by Dana Indonesiana 2023. Dana Indonesiana 2023 is cultural project fund by Republic of Indonesian Ministry of Education, Cultural, Research, and Technology, and LPDP( The Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency) . This project support by Taman Budaya Gersok Pyok Nusa Tenggara Timur.
